After the validation and enhancement workshop on the proposed screening policy for incoming education students, it was then finalized by another set of select school leaders and specialists from TEIs and DepEd.  

The finalization workshop started with the opening program prepared by the management team. Dr. Rita May P. Tagalog shared the milestones of the project. It was followed by different workshops facilitated by the management team. 

The participants were given a copy of the validation and enhancement workshop outputs conducted in Cauayan City, Isabela. The management team provided a template for the workshop followed by the facilitation of Dr. Dinah Bonao, HRDD Chief of Region 1.

The participants were grouped according to the parts of the policy and instructed to give further comments and suggestions on the draft policy output of Capiz and Cauayan. After the group activity, CHED Commissioner Aldrin A. Darilag delivered an inspirational message to the participants and discussed further the next steps of the policy. 

Finally, the group agreed to rename the title from Screening Policy for Incoming Education Students to National Admission Policy for Teacher Education Applicants. The participants presented the final draft to the focal person, Dr. Rita May Tagalog with the Executive Director II of TEC, Dir. Runvi V. Manguerra.
